You could almost say he was born with it in his blood. With an extensive passion for off road, Mark has been enjoying anything with an engine since he was 8 years old. As a kid, you could find him working in the parts department, serving customers in his parents motorcycle shop they owned as Honda motorcycle dealers in the '60s. He still has the first motorcycle his dad built for him displayed in his shop today.
Mark became an expert off road racer in District 36 as an A rider. In 1994, he was awarded #1 district 36 plate moving him from class B to A. Following this achievement, Mark would increase is trophy collection continuing to earn more overall plates. In 2001, Mark was involved in an accident, forcing him to take a 2 year sabbatical from riding. Throughout this time, his determination and focus to never give up allowed Mark to return to riding and racing, though not at the same competitive level. Due to the intense amount of training and age, Mark has scaled back on the competitive events. He now finds great reward in restoring vintage bikes and participating in cross county, enduro, and vintage motocross events. With his endurance and determination, Mark is still earning trophies for his performance and successful finishes.
Mark's wife, Nancy, has also grown to enjoy the excitement and adventures that come with outdoor motorized activities. As the co-owner, Nancy is an integral part of the operations of MC Concepts Racing LLC. She has been known to wear many different hats within the organization and embraces each role equally, providing great support and contributing to the overall success.
In 1990, Mark opened his own motorcycle shop. Since then, he has never lost site of his true passion and continues to enjoy his work along side his wife and co-owner, Nancy.
